From Radio to Voice Over
My Story with the Mic.

Radio is entirely part of who I am: it shaped me.
What a privilege to have experienced the early free radio stations, learning on the job with a beginner's approximations, a challenge in my eyes, and a voice that gave detractors a caustic middle finger!
That insolence, you must never lose it, despite time that dulls and conforms.
The little duckling spread its wings thanks to radio.
A touch of character and personality? Undoubtedly!
A radio voice over artist, a talk show host, a game show host, a live show host, thriving on improv, the unexpected, genuine emotions, stage fright, "tongue-tied moments," and bursts of laughter...
I loved looking at listeners "straight in the ears."
And I still love speaking "straight into the Ears" of those within earshot!
It was on those airwaves that I learned to sculpt my voice, to play with the moment.
An anchoring that still resonates today in my voice over profession,
where every intention counts.
